Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate finds its utilization as a fertilizer, mordant in dyeing wool, ink manufacturing, and for water purification as well. It has the chemical formula FeSO4.7h2O with molecular mass of 278.01 g/mol which can be derived from a co-product of pickling of steel. This compound is also used as a reducing agent & colorant in some industrial applications and as a supplement in iron deficiency.
