Retention Agent is required to reduce the wastage of chemicals in a substrate and to get the same result with the use of less amount of functional reagent during a chemical process. It improves the retention ability of active substances in paint, suspensions, food additives, and colors. This agent finds its application in paper making industry to improve retaining ability of fillers, sizing & cationic starch, and also to reduce solid & organic loading in process water. Retention Agent can be of different types required for specific purposes including polyacrylamide, absorbent aluminum phyllosilicate clay, & polyethyleneimine.
